About the founder
Felix Schaefer is an internationally working actor, director, and communication teacher based in Portugal and Berlin.
He is best known as the lead actor in the Netflix feature film Freddy Eddy and for creating, writing, directing, and producing his own film and theatre productions released on international VOD platforms. His acting work includes cinema productions with directors such as Anika Decker, as well as independent feature films and series.
As a director and creator, Felix has developed interactive theatre formats in Europe and Southeast Asia, including projects in Berlin and Bali. His artistic work focuses on presence, self-observation, and authentic human connection, combining performance with audience interaction and experiential storytelling.
Alongside his artistic career, Felix works as a communication and acting coach, teaching presence, embodiment, and expressive clarity to private clients, universities, and international companies. He is a TED Talk speaker and regularly leads workshops and long-term coaching processes across cultures.
Felix is the co-owner and director of BoerlinBoerds and Porto Prod, producing films, theatre projects, and educational formats. His work bridges acting, directing, teaching, and personal development, with a strong emphasis on awareness, storytelling, and lived experience.
He lives and works between Portugal and Berlin, collaborating internationally across film, theatre, education, and creative industries.
